MCMS is a 2018 National Healthy School! They have 10 or fewer days of food and beverage fundraising except from the Smart Snack standards! Every student has a water bottle and has access to bottle refill stations daily.

Dutch Fork High School
Dutch Fork High School is committed to the academic, social, mental, physical, and personal growth of every student.
In academics, Dutch Fork scored Excellent on the SC Annual Report Card and continues to implement instructional programs that successfully produce students who not only meet but exceed the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. They also have a strong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Program that was awarded AdvancED STEM Certification. During the 2017-18 school year, Dutch Fork produced 10 National Merit Finalists, 51 Palmetto Fellows, 276 graduates who had GPAs of 3.0 or higher qualifying them for the Hope and Life Scholarships, and 279 students who earned a state scholarship. DFHS was ranked by the Washington Post and Niche among the nation’s most academically rigorous and challenging high schools and the 2nd highest traditional high school in SC. Dutch Fork was also selected as a Professional Development School by the University of South Carolina, allowing for a close partnership of professional development with the university.
Our Cheerleading and Football teams are BACK-to-Back STATE CHAMPIONS! Dutch Fork’s sports program affords students numerous opportunities to participate in competitive sports with an emphasis on developing students’ athletic abilities while supporting academic excellence.
Always reaching for distinction, our band, chorus, orchestra, drama, and dance students received superior ratings at all of their competitions, and the Dutch Fork ROTC Program was named a Top National Distinguished ROTC Unit.
Dutch Fork is also home to the 2018-19 Lexington-Richland 5 Teacher of the Year, Ali Hendrick, whose constant implementation of best practices and creative teaching exemplifies the shared expectations of rigorous instruction by all of our teachers.
